The top of the Mont Saint-Michel in Normandie, France, is 150 metres above sea level. The church looks really massive.

Helsinki
This is a postcard showing the railway station in Helsinki, one of the main landmarks in the Finnish capital.
Summer Greetings
Kesäiset terveiset Kalajoetta! - Summer greetings from Kalajoki!
Kalajoki is a small city in Northern Finland. Thanks to the Postcrosser who taught me those Finnish words.

Seinäjoki
The girl who sent me this card took the photos herself and made a card out of them. I like handmade cards and was very happy to receive this one from Seinäjoki in Finland.
Finland
If you look at a Finnish map, you sometimes feel like there's more water than land. It's amazing how many lakes and rives that country has.
Sauna in Finland
The Sauna is an ancient Finnish tradition. Temperature in there is usually 80-100°C, so prepare to get boiled.
Finnish sunset
The colours are so vivid, the picture almost doesn't seem real. I love this sunset postcard from Finland.
Jyväskyla
See the red and white buildings on either side of the bridge? These are university buildings in Jyväskyla in Finland.
Dire Dawa
Dire Dawa is the second largest city in Ethiopia and is located in the east of the country. The church you see is Kulubi Gabriel Cathedral, about 64km from Dire Dawa.
Kuremae
This is not just some nice houses and a beautiful church, it's the only Russian Orthodox convent in Estonia. Nice card!
China
This is a very interesting postcard. The painting shows Chinese women having a Western-style meal for the first time and struggling with the strange forks and knives and trying the foreign wine.
Melipilla
You can't see it all that well because the sticker is hiding the date above the left picture, but that one was taken in 1985. The year when I was born!
Things sure have changed since then.

Campos Do Jordao
Funny how this city in Brazil reminds me of home. Campos Do Jordao was founded by immigrants from Switzerland and is one of the few places in Brazil where it snows in winter.
Cottesloe
According to the card, Cottesloe Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Western Australia. It certainly looks nice!
Surfers Paradise
Another example for Australia's fabulous beaches. Surfers Paradise is located on the Gold Coast in Queensland.
Grear Barrier Reef
The Whitsunday Islands in Queensland, Australia are part of the Great Barrier Reef. They do look beautiful, don't they?
Mount Warning National Park
Mount Warning National Park in New South Wales, Australia. You can see Mount Warning in the background, the pyramid pointing skywards between the trees.
Victor Harbor
Victor Harbor in Australia as seen from Granite Island. Apparently, Granite Island is a great spot to watch penguins.
New South Wales
Did you know that New South Wales is the most populated state in Australia? They seem to have a bit of everything, cities, beaches and mountains.
