Le Mont Saint-Michel

The top of the Mont Saint-Michel in Normandie, France, is 150 metres above sea level. The church looks really massive.


Le dolmen de Roc-Feutet, celtic stones, are found in the Bretagne in France.


This is a postcard showing the railway station in Helsinki, one of the main landmarks in the Finnish capital.

Summer Greetings

Kesäiset terveiset Kalajoetta! - Summer greetings from Kalajoki!
Kalajoki is a small city in Northern Finland. Thanks to the Postcrosser who taught me those Finnish words.


The girl who sent me this card took the photos herself and made a card out of them. I like handmade cards and was very happy to receive this one from Seinäjoki in Finland.


If you look at a Finnish map, you sometimes feel like there's more water than land. It's amazing how many lakes and rives that country has.

The Sauna is an ancient Finnish tradition. Temperature in there is usually 80-100°C, so prepare to get boiled.

Dire Dawa is the second largest city in Ethiopia and is located in the east of the country. The church you see is Kulubi Gabriel Cathedral, about 64km from Dire Dawa.


This is not just some nice houses and a beautiful church, it's the only Russian Orthodox convent in Estonia. Nice card!

This is a very interesting postcard. The painting shows Chinese women having a Western-style meal for the first time and struggling with the strange forks and knives and trying the foreign wine.


You can't see it all that well because the sticker is hiding the date above the left picture, but that one was taken in 1985. The year when I was born!
Things sure have changed since then.
