This ship is called Ukko Pekka and it is the last sea-going Finish steamer. You can find it in the area of Turku.

This is the lighthouse in the town of Kustavi in Finland. It was built in 1833.

Helsinki

This is a postcard showing the railway station in Helsinki, one of the main landmarks in the Finnish capital.

Summer Greetings

Kesäiset terveiset Kalajoetta! - Summer greetings from Kalajoki!
Kalajoki is a small city in Northern Finland. Thanks to the Postcrosser who taught me those Finnish words.

Seinäjoki

The girl who sent me this card took the photos herself and made a card out of them. I like handmade cards and was very happy to receive this one from Seinäjoki in Finland.

Finland

If you look at a Finnish map, you sometimes feel like there's more water than land. It's amazing how many lakes and rives that country has.

Kyröjoki

A very nice panorama card from Kyröjoki in central Finland.

Sauna in Finland

The Sauna is an ancient Finnish tradition. Temperature in there is usually 80-100°C, so prepare to get boiled.

Finnish sunset

The colours are so vivid, the picture almost doesn't seem real. I love this sunset postcard from Finland.

Kuru national park

A postcard showing traditional Finnish log building in a national park in Kuru.

Jyväskyla

See the red and white buildings on either side of the bridge? These are university buildings in Jyväskyla in Finland.

The sun in Finland

This is a very beautiful postcard from Finland. I've got it twice and I still love looking at it.

Beautiful Finland

Finland is a country of water as this card from Nurmes, a town near the Russian border, shows.

Finland

That bridge in the upper left corner looks very interesting.

Oulu

Aerial views are interesting. Cities can look so different from up there, it always makes me wonder what they're like when you're standing in the streets. This one comes from Oulu in Finland.

Finland

I really like this Finland card.

Helsinki

Postcard from Finland's capital.
