My amazing friend sent me a postcard from her holidays. It shows the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol, UK, which spans the Avon Gorge and was completed in 1864. It was designed by a Victorian engineer, Isambard Kingdom Brunel.

I was long wondering what to do with those ad cards I got from Brazil. They're blank and I don't really like them, but in the end I decided to keep them. First, because I could never throw a postcard away and second, because they're still an example of a culture, of ads in Brazil.

This is the Tasman Glacier on New Zealand's South Island. It's the biggest glacier in the country and you can land on it with a plane and do a guided ski-tour down it. The Tasman Glacier was named after the explorer Able Tasman (who also has a national park in New Zealand named after him). It turns into the Tasman River and then ends in Lake Pukaki.

I love my friend for sending me this beautiful postcard from Denmark's capital.

Oh, I wish I had finished reading Oliver Twist (to my shame, I got distracted and never finished it). The postcard is amazing!

This is the Saint Louis skyline in the USA. The Gateway Arch you see is the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial. You cannot see it here, but the arch stands in the middle of a 90-acres park.

This ship is called Ukko Pekka and it is the last sea-going Finish steamer. You can find it in the area of Turku.

This picture is called "Happiness". It is a fitting title, isn't it? I love looking at the card, it puts me in a good mood.

Aurora Borealis, the Northern Lights, are created by light molecules dancing in the air. What a poetic reason for those beautiful lights to exist.
