Ayutthaya

This monument in Thailand was built to commemorate the victory of King Naresuan over the Burmese when he won back the kingdom of Ayutthaya. The sender of the postcard told me that people come to make wishes and that if they are granted, they will offer a small rooster to the spirit of the king.
